Former Move Forward party leader Pita Limjaroenrat told his fun888asia คาสิโนsupporters in the north-eastern province of Khon Kaen today that this Songkran may be his last as a member of parliament, because of the grim prospect that the party may be dissolved by the Constitutional Court.

He said that about a month from now will be the most difficult period for the party and himself, but he vowed that the new party, to be formed should the verdict go against them, will win a landslide in the next election.

Pita has been on a campaign tour in Nong Khai, Udon Thani and Khon Kaen for the past three days, including today, to meet with party’s supporters and to join their Songkran celebrations.

He told them that the last two days and today among the north-eastern people are his happiest time.

He thanked the north-eastern people for their moral support, as manifested in their tying of threads to his wrists, the wrapping of “khao ma” loincloths around his waist and the presentation of leis.

He told his supporters that he will return in the next three years, probably as the next prime minister of Thailand.

The Election Commission has sought a Constitutional Court ruling as to whether the Move Forward party should be dissolved on charges of attempting to overthrow the Constitutional Monarchy, through its election campaign promise to seek amendments to the lèse majesté law. It also seeks to banish the party’s executive committee members from politics for ten years.
