Embattled deputy commissioner Pol Gen Surachate Hakparn who withdrew his สล็อต558charge of malfeasance in office against the premier demanded today a probe into the actions of 200 police officers involved in the investigation of money laundering charges against him.

In his about-turn, Surachate told the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) yesterday that he wants the charges, which he filed against the prime minister on Monday, to be withdrawn because the prime minister has nothing to do with the police investigation.

In his petition to the NACC today, he demanded that the anti-graft watchdog investigate Pol Gen Thana Chuwong, the current deputy commissioner general, and about 200 police investigators, whom he accuses of abuse of authority in violation of Criminal Code §157.

The deputy police chief said he is having to fight for justice and asked how the people in general can expect justice if a high-ranking officer like him is not afforded it.

“No one wants to die alone,” said Surachate, as he urged the police investigators to come forward with the truth about the online gambling network and the money laundering charges filed against him.

Both Surachate and Pol Gen Torsak Sukvimol, the police commissioner-general, who have both been implicated in involvement with the illegal gambling network, were transferred to the PM’s Office by the prime minister, pending the outcome of a probe.

Surachate was later transferred back to the Royal Thai Police and was, subsequently, suspended from police service pending the outcome of a disciplinary probe.

It is reported today that Surachate’s name plate has been removed from his office at the Royal Thai Police and his name has been deleted from the list of deputy commissioners general on the police website’s home page.
